Recerca

My PhD research was focused on understanding the movement patterns of natural enemies of insect pests in arable crop systems (maize, alfalfa and winter cereals). Currently, I am involved in two research topics. The first deals with the effects of landscape composition on insect pest and natural enemy’s abundances in alfalfa and maize crops in the Lleida area (NE Spain). The second topic focuses on testing the efficacy of two mirid bugs (Dicyphus spp.) as alternative predators for the biological control of tomato pests.
